Passing Through Time (Track 4, 21st Century Writings)

Along this path I wander, enjoining more of myself
with every step I take,
Knowing that the only way I have of telling the
effects of my journey,
Is to look in reflection at the results of my actions.

I see it in the words and deeds I have left along my way,
For indeed, the effects of my passing are there in the faces,
And the words of those that I have met along my path.
Sometimes with great joy, I see the effects of my passing,
And others with chagrin, when I view in others the
effects of my folly.

But who better than I to view these places where I have trod?
For only I know what mysterious hand of fate led me
to where I now stand.
Viewing the changes I have put myself through, I see
myself a more whole entity.

Onward I go, learning the lessons that are there for me,
And viewing the next bend in the road.
Striding forward to meet myself again, once I round the corner.
Seeking only to touch those that I meet, in such a way,
That my passing will leave joy on the faces of those that I meet.
Then will the results of my passing be as they should.
